Here are some pictures of my old single speed. Sadly it now ranks No 2 in the fleet, but is still a great ride! Much like the Scapin, it has only one gear. I have gone for a classic 'black and white' colour scheme from the original royal blue frame colour. I have recently changed a few of the components on this bike so here are some updated specs:

• Frame - Avanti Montari CrMo 1998 22", modified vertical dropout, white;
• Forks - Some cheap generic straight forks, black;
• Cranks - Shimano Deore LX 3 speed (converted to single chainring);
• Gear Ratio - 44t : 16t;
• Brakes - Shimano Deore;
• Brake levers - Shimano XT;
• Handlebars - Bargain bin, black;
• Handlebar grips - OURY grips, black;
• Pedals - DMR V8s, black;
• Rims - Zac 19 Aluminium alloy, 26";
• Tyres - Schwalbe Kevlar Marathon Slicks 26";
• Seat - Some 'ergonomic' racing seat, black.
• Absolute gearing ratio - 1 crank rotation : 5.4m road travel;
• Absolute weight - 12.5kg.
