Göteborg, Sweden

15.12.2005

I spent three days is Göteborg.. well just south of it actually in a town called Kungsbacka. I stayed with Carin who came out to Australia a couple of years ago..

Kungsbacka Station

This is the town where Carin lives (South of Göteborg)

Göteborg streetscape

At the docks

The Fish church

It's actually just a fish market. I'm not sure where the church bit comes in.

The Military museum

I liked the stones.

View from the Military museum (on a hill obviously - I think it was some sort of lookout point)

Great railings on the stairwell

BOX

The main city park

Nice colours

Frozen lake at the park

Not overly inviting park benches

This is a roller coaster track built entirely out of wood

Expensive one would assume...

Bilar (LARGE)

Those of you who haven't had this candy have missed out. This photo is a failure as there is no scale reference but each of those boxes is about half a metre tall. MASSIVE!

Tree point cloud

This style of street decoration is very popular across Europe.
