Mining Man Brand Development

Mining Man is a website that offers leadership, safety and productivity ideas for the mining industry. In conjunction with a new website development by Melbourne web design firm Get Started, Mining Man needed a new logo to represent their service better.

From a fairly literal interpretation of the business name, the brand icon - 'the Mining Man' stands proudly on the strong logotype. A gold full stop balances the logo visually and provides an interplay between the man and the full stop - implying an unfound gem.

The brand, existing predominantly online, was developed to maximise the screeen medium, the a strong electric blue to royal blue colour scheme, topped off with gold highlights.
